Membership CriteriaMEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

Eligibility for Network Membership in AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK includes the following:
  • Agent/member shall fill in and complete the application form and provide additional documents requested by AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK's.
  • After checking the city is open in territories listed by AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK's, the agent can join the network after completing the application form and any additional documents requested by AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK's.
  • A profile of each member company/agent will be published in the online Directory Members area.
  • Agent/member will receive their login details and credentials to access the password protected by the AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK's members area, which is only accessible to active network members only.
  • Agent/member agrees to comply with AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK's rules and regulations.
Network members will benefit from the following;
  • Full access of AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK and facilities, our resources and network implemented by AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK for communication and collaboration within society.
  • All AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK members are eligible to engage in AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK events, however the Financial expenses are to be covered by the attendees. The events of AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORKwill include;
  • The annual AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK Conference
  • AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK face-to-face meetings
  • AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK webinars and other online events
  • Technical accessibility to the website and WhatsApp group for directories and social media
  • Reaching out to the women professionals in logistics and freight forwarding
  • Strengthening the presence of africans in logistics industry
  • Empowering african labor force
  • Streghtening the associations such as business and industries in global logistics sector and supply chain and project managements.
AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK’s members shall agree the following;
  • To participate actively in the meetings
  • By enabling and encouraging the sharing of local resources and knowledge related to AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK’s mission with other AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK members
  • Each valued member agencies shall appoint a staff to represent them within AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK in terms of collaboration, active participation and engagement.
  • To pay annual AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK membership fees, and any other financial obligations related to AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK membership and program/events/meetings, within due diligence.
  • To respect the integrity and exclusive nature of intelligence shared through AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK (i.e. surveys, documents, communications, etc.), in particular when these are intended priviliged for use or viewing by AFRICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING NETWORK members.
  • The Agents must actively collaborate and cooperate in international logistics and freight forwarding. Each member will be responsible for the arrangement and provision of full logistics services in timely manner and transmission of necessary documents required.
  • All requests for information will be actioned upon receipt by the agent.
  • Members agree to transfer a growing percentage of their shipments to their fellow agents in the network.
  • Agents/members shall have their details posted on African Bureau of Shipping Network’s website/members directory based on their country and city of operation covered, where other members can easily find them using the Agent Finding tool.
  • Members will provide evidence to demonstrate their cooperation within management and board with other members when requested to do so by African Bureau of Shipping Network’s.
  • If an agent stays inactive for more than a year occured, African Bureau of Shipping Network’s has the right to communicate with them to discuss any issue with their business traffic or movement. African Bureau of Shipping Network’s will try to find a solution in case or otherwise African Bureau of Shipping Network’s can terminate their membership accordingly if necessary.
  • The member agent shall make all related payments necessary before they are admitted as Members.
  • After payments, members will be bound by the rules and regulations. They are expected to comply and abide by the rules and regulations.
  • The annual membership fees are not transferable under any circumstances.
  • The rules and regulations shall be governed by Moroccan Law.

Basic Membership: $1200 per year

Branch Office Membership: $ 700 per year

  • Access to online resources and directories
  • Participation in online webinars and discussions
  • Monthly newsletter

African Bureau of Shipping Network’s Membership Pricing Policy

Our membership pricing policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and accessible, ensuring that all eligible individuals can benefit from our resources and community.

 

Payment Terms

Membership fees and branch office fees are due annually and must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Payments can be made via credit card and bank transfer.

Renewal notices will be sent 30 days before the membership expiration date.

 

Refund Policy

Membership fees are non-refundable.

In exceptional circumstances, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the African Bureau of Shipping Network’s management.

Special Promotions: Occasional discounts and promotions may be offered and will be communicated through our official channels.

 

Membership Benefits

Eligibility to participate in African Bureau of Shipping Network’s events (financial expenses to be covered by attendees).

Technical accessibility to the website and WhatsApp group for directories and social media.

Opportunities to establish new partnerships and strengthen associations within the logistics sector.

 

Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated if a member fails to comply with the African Bureau of Shipping Network’s rules and regulations.

Members may also choose to terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice to the African Bureau of Shipping Network’s
